As I promised, I am coming to you this week with information, a few questions, and a task. Your Proficiency Goal (Should You Choose to Accept it) is as Follows:

INCORPORATE "A HANDFUL OF WISDOM" IN YOUR DAILY LIVING THIS WEEK

Before we begin this lesson, I want us keep the following information in mind.  As humans, we all function in four basic states of consciousness when it comes to attaining proficiency in any task:

  1. Unconscious Incompetence:  We are not aware that we don’t know how. We don’t even think about it.
  2. Conscious Incompetence: We become aware that we don’t know how.  Hopefully, we try to improve.
  3. Conscious Competence:  We are aware that we know how. Hopefully, we work to remain competent.
  4. Unconscious Competence:  We know how so well that it is has become part of our nature. We don’t "HAVE" to think about it.

All Learners in Momo’s NO Excuses University want to move from 1 to 4 in our competency levels when it comes to God’s will.  AMEN!

MY PERSONAL QUESTIONS (Prayer Fuel) FOR THE WEEK:

  1. How Spiritual is my response to difficult situations such as negativity, or need?
  2. Have I ever been in a verbal confrontation with a family member, loved one, friend, associate, classmate, or coworker, that I just didn't know how to  resolve?
  3. Have things happened to me in the past that I wanted to address, but wasn't sure how God wanted me to respond?
  4. Do I have trouble sharing truth with someone important in my life?

If you answered yes to one or more of the questions above, I encourage you to apply Momo's "Handful of Wisdom" to your life  this week:

This technique was given to me by the Holy Spirit and is based on the following scriptures: Hebrews 4:16 (Throne of Grace,) Philippians 4:5-6, Galatians 6:1, Mathew 18:15, Proverbs 3:6, James 1:5 (Please read them.)

Some of these steps might be difficult for you. Some will be easy. Each person has his her own strengths and weaknesses. Be gentle with yourself.

Handful of Wisdom Explained:

1. At The Right Time (Do NOT overlook this important step)

  • If you are spiritual
  • If you have prayed
  • If your motive is sharing out of your love for the person and the relationship

2. Speak Up

  • Reach out to the person and share

3. Speak Clearly

  • Ask God how to say what needs to be said.
  • Try not to repeat, or speak louder. This does not bring clarity, it can cause anger.
  • James 1:5: If any man lacks wisdom…
  • Proverbs 3:6: In all thy ways acknowledge him...

4. Be as GENTLE as You Can.

  • Consider yourself less you also be tempted

5. LET IT GO!

  • Relax!  Forgive the person and yourself
  • Now that you have applied your abilities to your opportunities, leave the results to God.

NOTE: With each situation you encounter this week, repeat steps 1-5, in order, as the Spirit leads.

END OF THE WEEK SELF-CHECK:

How much of  "A Handful of Wisdom" did you incorporate during  your interactions this week? Please rate yourself with grades A-E and review my responses.

Amen God's People PRAY!
