The Tampa Westcoast District’s Pastors & Ministers Wives hosted a Fashion/Talent Show on Saturday, April 2.  The theme was ‘Godly Women Empowered to Make a Difference’.  What a delightful afternoon. Lady Belinda McDonald’s wit added a glamorous flare to introducing the fashion show participants.  Not only did many of our district’s pastors and ministers wives model, we were treated with fashion worn by men, 2nd Century, children, guests … and …. our very own District First Lady Lillie Williams stepped out ‘in style’.  We were featured with church, casual, and work fashion apparel.  In addition to the fashion Divas, we were blessed with a performance by The Rock’s youth praise team.

Spoken Word was listed on the program.  No it was not poetry.  Min. Caroline Hird walked the runway modeling her church wear and stepped into sharing the Word of God.  “God invested His spirit in us not for use to sit down; but for us to work.  Staying submissive to the Holy Spirit empowers us.  We have been chosen by the Holy Spirit to make a difference.”

An afternoon of fashion, fun, fellowship and a call for us to make a difference.
