ByFaith, let’s celebrate the new Coordinator of the National Women’s Ministry:
EVANGELIST CAROLYN JACOBS is a Woman of God, who’s been called to “declare the works of the Lord”. Through her life experiences God uses her to preach His Word with simplicity, conviction and power.
She is the mother of three, a grandmother and great-grandmother and was married to the late Brother Leonard Jacobs.
Since accepting Christ as her Savior in 1983, she has been a member of Solid Rock Church of God by Faith, Yulee, Florida, serving in the ministry under the leadership of Elder Dr. Harry J. Johnson, her Father in the Gospel.
She accepted her call into ministry in June 2006 and was consecrated by the Church of God by Faith, Inc. as an Evangelist in July 2010. She is currently on assignment with Kingdom Builders Ministry in St. Mary’s Georgia, which is an outreach of Solid Rock.
She has been a part the Nassau County Jail Ministry over 25 years; she has been the personal secretary to District Superintendent Harry Johnson, since 1996; she serves as the Financial Resources Editor for the Church of God by Faith (COGBF) National Women’s Ministry Website and most recently appointed as the COGBF National Women’s Ministry Coordinator.
She has been employed with Westrock Fernandina Beach for over 31 years working in inventory management. She volunteers through her employer to be a blessing to the residents of Nassau County.
The driving force behind the ministry that God has placed in her, is that she understands to whom much is given, much is required. This is her motivation to be busy about the Father’s business.
She has included this passage as a part of her daily prayer “…that ye might be filled with knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye may walk worthy of the Lord, unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthen with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light…” (Colossians 1:9-12 KJV).
Her desire is to serve God by serving others.
