What follows is the brief bio of Dr. Linda Myers who is a new member on the First Lady Support Team at the National Women's Website staff.  She is a licensed professional counselor and will contribute regularly to women.cogbf.org.

Here's her brief bio:

"I am Dr. Linda “Selena” Myers. I was born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 17th, 1972 to the parents of Jimmy Williams and Annie Williams Brown. I am a member of El-Bethel Church of God by Faith Sumter, SC under the leadership of Pastor James Gibbs, Sr. I was raised in Sumter, SC by my mother and step-father Mr. Ralph Brown, Jr.

I have an Associate Degree in Paralegal, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology, Master of Arts Degree in Counseling, and Doctorate Degree in Christian Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor for the state of S.C and Georgia. I have been a professional counselor for over 10 years. Currently, I am the Clinic Director for a Mental Health facility located in Clarendon, SC.

God has blessed me to be in a position to help others in my spiritual and professional life on a daily basis. However, my passion is to empower young ladies and women; help increase their self-esteem and self-worth, and help them as they search for the purpose for which God has placed them on this earth.

I grew up in the A.M.E church and came to COGBF through my friend, now husband Minister Pherneco Myers (Eady) who has been a ByFaith baby since birth! Within my wedding vows to Minister Myers on 06/13/2009, I told him that ‘As God Lead You, I Will Follow’!

Eyes haven’t seen and ears haven’t heard what God has in store for this awesome man of God! Through our blended family we share seven beautiful children and eight amazing grandchildren. I wear many hats within our local church and I look forward to my husband’s journey to pastoral-ship, for I am his Help Mate! We are on a mission to build up God’s Kingdom and help save lost souls. Because no man knows what tomorrow holds, we must Hold On to God who knows it All!"
