Saturday, March 24, 2018, Elect Lady Sandra G. Rodgers and the women of Greater Macedonia enjoyed a delicious meal and numerous “Getting-to-Know You”games. The purpose of the luncheon was for Greater Macedonia women and the new Elect Lady to Meet and Greet each other on a more personal basis. We were all pleased to come together to get to let our hair down and to get to know the pastor’s wife and one another. The Meet and Greet was for all women. We had young women, seasoned mothers, and 2nd Century and NexGen young women.

During this Meet and Greet, our very own Lady Rodgers prepared the delicious meal. “Open the Door” was a game we played to assist us in getting everyone to speak. The doorknob was passed around when answering questions given by Lady Rodgers:

  • When you hear the word “UNITY”, what does that mean to you?
  • What can we do to express or provoke the spirit of unity towards one another within the body of Christ?
  • What would you like to see done?
  • What can we do to see an increase of membership within our ministry (former and future members)?
  • What gift or talent has God given you to further the work of the KINGDOM?
  • What are you doing to fulfill that purpose?
  • and the final question
  • What door has God opened for you and how have you responded to those open doors?

Greater Macedonia women presented Lady Rodgers with a surprise fruit basket, roses and a framed prayer. Overall, I think we accomplished our purpose for our Meet and Greet. There was a great outpouring of LOVE in words and deeds.
