Lady Delois T. McKnight and Starke Church of God by Faith Women’s Ministry held a Watch Party on Oct. 3 at our Community Learning Center. The featured message was: “Overcoming insecurities to make an Impact” by Dr. Naima Brown. Many of us heard this message at the summer Impact Conference, but as it is with many classic movies or sermon messages, this one was worth watching again and with more friends, family and community members. We were excited to watch this message with about 55 women of various ages, stages, ethnicities and denominations. Good food, fellowship and a few door prizes were shared among the group. We left encouraged, restored and equipped to recognize and overcome the insecurities that we face and to make a positive impact on our families and our communities for the kingdom. To God be all the Glory.
