On this journey we call life

You meet people, go places, many things you see

And with each passing day

You may still be wondering what you will be

There is never a dull moment

Everywhere there is chaos or so it seems

And yet, the Master works all of these things together

To continue to refine what you will be

Often, your thoughts may wander

To what should have been or what could be

But, there really is no need to stress in the process

Because everything you have been through was necessary to make you what you will be

Each circumstance is tailor-made for you

Keep pressing because endurance is the key

In the midst of each one, you learn something new

That gives a bigger glimpse of what you will be

And as your resumé of experience builds

And maturity in Christ makes you free

You will understand much better

Why, until now, it did not yet appear what you will be.
